Floral Design

The Basics – Design 101      Fee:  $20.00

Understanding and applying basic floral design principles and components.  A brief introduction to necessary tools and techniques while creating a small urn arrangement.  Supplies to bring to class: wire cutters, scissors, and a small hot glue gun with glue.

The Nested Instincts Wreath     Fee:  $20.00

Learn a few new techniques and floral design principles while making a small wreath or candle ring.  Supplies to bring to class: wire cutters, scissors, and a small hot glue gun with glue.

The “Summer’s in the Air” Wreath       Fee:  $45.00

This is a moderately advanced class.  A medium size wreath will be created using a combination of natural, preserved, and silk greenery and flowers.  Supplies to bring to class: wire cutters, scissors, and a small hot glue gun with glue.

The “Fall Berries and Leaves” Wreath     Fee: $45.00

This is a moderately advanced class to create a medium size wreath turned out in Fall berries, greenery, and leaves.  Supplies to bring to class: wire cutters, scissors, and a small hot glue gun with glue.

Collage Discovery

(Class fee includes materials - Suitable for Ages 8 - Adult)

The Basic for Starters           Fee:  $12.00

This class is an introduction to the basic materials and techniques to begin your 8 x 10 collage. Several background techniques will be taught to enhance your art surfaces wit different transfer techniques, glue paint, stamp – while composing a one of a kind collage.

Personal Expression Collage    Fee:  $15.00

Explore the concept of “personal expression” collage using your personal photos (head shots) are necessary.  Basic collage techniques will be used in addition to paper, paint and ink stamps.  Your photos will be cut to size and glued to your collage – do not bring antique photos or originals.  Supplies to bring:  3 Paint brushes or Sponge brushes.  Xacto knife or scissors.  A few Xerox and color copies of old family photos and images you like and a variety of favorite (about 10 pieces) of paper collage ephemeral. Bring enough images to fill an 8 x 10” canvas size. Bring a something to use as a water jar - old cup, old jar or paper cup, etc.  Also need waxed paper or paper plates to use as a palette for your paints.

Vintage “Soup to Nuts” Collage Technique   Fee:  $25.00

You will never look at a blank Canvas for long ever again!!  We will use a variety (Soup to Nuts!) techniques to create a unique, personal…and lovely collage creation.  Prepare to paint, stamp, chalk, stamp, as you layer unique pieces of paper and pictures.  Supplies to bring:  your coordinated favorite paints and brushes, gel medium or decoupage glue, pretty papers with pictures and text, copies of photographs (vintage or current), craft knife, brayer, scissors.

Scrapbooking

 (Class fee includes materials - Suitable for Ages 8 - Adult)

Basic Scrapbooking Techniques – Getting Started     Fee:  $25.00

This is a basic “getting started” class – or maybe a “getting re-started” class which will cover materials and techniques.  Learn basic cutting, adhesives, picture composition techniques.  Everyone will apply their new expertise to a 2 page layout in class.

Weekly Scrapbook Layout – Themes Vary     Fee:  $15.00

Every week a 2-Page Scrapbook Kit will be created around a theme.  See the calendar for the specific layout.

Scrapbooking using Collage Techniques   Fee:  $15.00

Learn about a collection of creative techniques that can be integrated into any style of scrapbooking.  We will cover colorant, texture, image, and collage techniques while creating a 2 page layout.

Scrapbooking with Embellishments    Fee:  $25.00

Learn and play with the latest embellishments available to enhance your layouts.  Experiment on a layout designed to incorporate ribbon, buttons, rubons, brads, flowers and more.
